Third Space at Fools & Horses
A series of collages installed at Fools & Horses, Winnipeg, MB.
“Third Space” is a collection of digital collages that evoke dreamlike scenarios from familiar imagery. The scenes invite the viewer into the scene, with often familiar landscapes, yet layered to create a fictional space. Using landscape photographs from her own travels, the scenes will spark different memories and experiences to each viewer. It invites viewers to create their own narrative around the imagery, and create their own sense of storytelling. Through the layering of the familiar, along with the unfamiliar, and the recognizable with the unknown, there is the opportunity to step out of one’s daily routine, and into a space of the imaginary.
