Meighan King is currently based out of Calgary, Alberta. She is a  member of the Kwickwasut’inuxw Haxwa’mis First Nation, and is of Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw, Métis, and European descent. She has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of British Columbia, and in 2018, she received  a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba. In 2020 she completed her Masters of Architecture, where her research explored the role of storytelling in creating Indigenous spaces within the urban landscape, to reclaim place, space, and identity.
Past works include co-creating the interactive installations "PEG" and "SPOKE", as well as being a co-curator of the Winnipeg Design Festival in 2018.
PEG is currently install at MAKE Coffee + Stuff in Winnipeg, MB.
